We Now Have Wolves in the Philippines. Here's Where to Find Them
And apparently, the entire cast of Jungle Book: Bears, tigers, monkeys, meerkats, and hyenas.
Clark Safari and Adventure Park has opened in Clark Freeport, Mabalacat, Pampanga on Wednesday, December 08, 2021. Unlike all the other zoos in the Philippines, this one has the complete cast of Jungle Book: wolves, tigers, bears, meerkats, and even hyenas.
The 15-hectare phase 1 zoo features 70 species and a total of 1,500 animals. Among them are wild animals such as brown bears, jaguars, baboons, hyenas, serval cats, caracal lynx, and patas monkeys.
The Clark Safari is also home to rescued animals like horses affected by Taal eruption, the pelican bird found in Aurora, and Philippine Macaque turned over by DENR Pampanga. The park is open from Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
