Summit Media and PlayTime Entertainment are joining forces to tackle the digital bottlenecks in the Filipino publishing landscape with an initiative to develop digital marketing solutions and potent platforms that will allow local publishers to tell compelling and human stories.

PT Summit is a marriage between PlayTime Entertainment's expertise in scalable tech and reach and Summit Media's decades of experience in building media brands from the ground up via trusted content and engaged audiences.

PlayTime Entertainment will provide the technical capabilities to develop tools for publishers to enhance their digital products and to keep an eye on their audience insights in a more streamlined and efficient way.

The new digital platform will be initially rolled out at Summit Media as the JV's first client and flagship implementation partner.

Under this media umbrella are Preview, PEP.ph, SPOT.ph, SPIN.ph, Smart Parenting, Esquire Philippines, and Cosmopolitan Philippines.

“The media industry and the way people discover and consume content continue to change," said Crisanto Roy Alcid, CEO of PT Summit. “PT Summit was created to provide critical tech infrastructure that media companies need to adapt to these changes. We are empowering storytellers with world-class technology. By partnering with Summit Media first, we are proving the model with the best in the business."

After this localized implementation within Summit Media, the platform and other tools will be made available to independent publishers, media networks, and content businesses seeking to beef up their marketing systems.

"Sometimes a content management system is not as friendly as you want it to be," Summit Media CEO Howard Go said at the launch of the partnership at Crowne Plaza in Ortigas."So that's something that we can work with a team like PT Summit, because the CMS can be much more flexible and agile over time and would allow us to create the right content depending on the brand that's doing it and the story we're covering. What we want to do is give them the tools to be able to do things better and more efficiently."
