Despite all the noise Facebook—sorry, we mean Meta—makes or all the ads that Amazon churns out, the king of tech (in terms of revenue) is none other than Apple. The pandemic and lockdown accelerated the growth of tech at unprecedented levels. The digital economy is booming, and the leader of the pack is earning thousands of dollars by the second and millions by the minute.

Data company Statista recently crunched the numbers and discovered that Apple is earning a whopping $3,002… per second. That makes it the most profitable U.S. tech giant at the moment.

In the last 12 months, the Big Five (Google/Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Microsoft) grossed $1,350 billion dollars, taking home $300 billion in net profit, according to Statista. These are definitely the best stocks of the year as all five Tech Giants experienced explosive growth in profits, all increasing profits by at least 43 percent.

While Apple takes the cake by generating $3,002 per second in net income, Alphabet and Microsoft follow closely behind with $2,239 and $2,153, respectively. Facebook/Meta earns $1,278 per second, while Amazon closes the Big Five with $833 per second.
