The hashtag #bdoonlinebanking was trending on Twitter on Wednesday morning as dozens of frustrated clients reported problems with the app.

Many of the users said functions such as in-app money transfers were not working, while some they could not access the app at all. Some took screenshots of a dialog box informing users, “There was a problem connecting to Mobile Banking. Please try again later.”

Some users said they managed to connect through the bank’s website, but others said even that was unreliable.

On Tuesday, the bank posted a notice on its Facebook page informing clients the Mobile App was now fully supported on Apple’s iOS 14 and that they can update to the new version.
