The latest edition of the World’s Best Employers list is out, and this time, seven Philippine companies made it to the prestigious list. Forbes partnered with Statista for the sixth edition of the list, which surveyed 150,000 workers from 57 countries working in multinational companies.

The top 10 employers in the world this year are: Samsung, Microsoft, IBM, Alphabet, Apple, Delta Airlines, Costco Wholesale, Adobe, Southwest Airlines, and Dell Technologies.

From the Philippines, seven companies made it to the list, with Jollibee Foods Corporation leading the pack at 106th place. Jollibee is the second-highest-ranking Southeast Asian corporation on the list, after DBS Bank in Singapore. It also ranked higher than companies like Salesforce, eBay, and Tesla.

San Miguel Food and Beverage is the second Philippine corporation to land on the list at 174th place, followed by Ayala Corporation at 581st place, SM Investments at 605th place, Metropolitan Bank & Trust at 637th place, Alliance Global Group at 688th place, and Aboitiz Equity Ventures at 740th place.

After evaluating thousands of companies, Forbes and Statista narrowed down the roster to 800 companies ranked based on their aptitude in talent development, social responsibility, gender equality, and corporate impact and image. The willingness of employees to recommend employers to friends and families was also considered.

If you’re planning a new career path, then this Forbes list might help you out.
