The property development company’s first project is a new townhouse community right beside Acqua Residences in Mandaluyong City.

Listed Century Properties Corp. is expanding its business portfolio with the launch of a new unit that will focus on lower building height developments, the company announced on Thursday (October 27). This is a sharp shift from its previous projects focused mostly on high-rise condominiums.

In a statement, the company said its new unit called Century NULIV will address changing preferences for home buyers as well as clients’ clamor for more space, both indoor and outdoor. The residential developments under Nuliv will also expectedly carry less risk on a per project basis.

Robbie Antonio Resigns from Century Properties Group Amidst Issues With Revolution Precrafted

"New standards in living and lifestyle inclinations have developed post-pandemic, and we intend to address these changes in homebuyers’ needs,” Century Properties Group president and CEO Marco R. Antonio said. “While Nuliv will continue Century’s legacy of serving the needs of the premium and luxury market, it will do so via new product offerings wherein majority will be townhouses and other low-rise structures—which is in contrast with its historical roots of doing mainly high-rise condominiums. As a result, this new product offering will be faster to develop."

Marco Antonio took over as president and CEO of the company in 2019, replacing his father, Amb. Joey Antonio, who founded the company 36 years ago.

In addition, the developments under the Nuliv brand will come in a range of choices: from upscale and premium townvillas, homes, and enclaves. They will be situated in key growth areas and will feature innovative and inspired architectural designs.

The maiden project under the new unit is a townhouse community called Century Nuliv Townvillas at Acqua. The development will feature 22 multi-storey houses located beside an existing Century Properties Project, Acqua Private Residences in Mandaluyong City.

“Acqua is a community of like-minded individuals who value convenience, safety, comfort, and a stylish lifestyle,” said Century NULIV president Monica L. Trajano. “NULIV Townvillas at Acqua is planned akin to all these principles and provides the same generous indoor and outdoor living spaces one would likely find in suburbia, but all within and integrated into the thriving Acqua community. It also offers a paramount in-city living experience and assured value appreciation since the houses and lots are located within Metro Manila.”

Century Properties is known for its slew of high-end high-rise condominium projects mostly around Metro Manila, including Trump Tower and Gramercy Residences at Century City Makati, Azure Urban Resort Residences, Century Spire, designed by famed architect Daniel Libeskind, and the aforementioned Acqua Residences. It also owns Century City Mall and is involved in the leasing of retail and office space, and property management.

In the first six months of 2022, the company reported a net income attributable to parent company of P324.26 million, up from P280.63 million during the same period last year.
