How EasyFranchise Has Simplified and Democratized Franchising

It's the dating app of franchising.

EasyFranchise is the latest addition to the increasingly democratized business scene. It’s a one-stop destination for everything you need to know about franchising a business, with a platform that matches you with the franchise that best suits you. Think of it like the franchising dating app.

EasyFranchise was launched in early 2019 by RJ Ledesma, an entrepreneur who also runs food enterprise incubator Metro Centrale. It seems Ledesma’s passion is helping others pursue their own, and EasyFranchise, like its name suggests, is an easy avenue that lets rookie entrepreneurs enter a field they’ve been eyeing for years. The site is designed for newbies in entrepreneurship, as well as overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) looking for franchise opportunities in the Philippines despite being miles away.

The website’s interface is pretty simple: An interested franchiser needs to register for an account then take the website’s Match Me quiz, which will ask him basic questions regarding his industry, brand, and budget preference. It will then show him a list of franchises that might fit him.

There are over 1,000 franchising opportunities on the site, ranging from retail brands like Giordano for P4 million to food brands like Bigg’s Diner for P18 million and Hukad for P8 million. You can even franchise service industry brands like Phoenix for P2 million or Elorde Boxing Gym for P2 million as well.

But not all franchises on the website go beyond the million mark. In fact, there are thousands that cost just below P250,000 like Potato Corner’s P230,000 and Shawarma Racks’ P99,000.

There’s a franchise for everyone, whether you want to go into fast food, medicine, home furniture, or even financial services. EasyFranchise also charges no fees or commissions, and lets you upload your requirements straight to the website so the EasyFranchise team can handle your franchise application for you.

This is just one of the many startups that have popped up over the last few months to level the playing field and make business opportunities far more accessible to the greater public.
