Grab Now Has a Cloud Kitchen in Cebu
Grab Philippines launched its first cloud kitchen in the Philippines in Makati City in 2020. It has since opened GrabKitchens in Parañaque, Malate, Caloocan, and Bacoor in Cavite. On Monday, the company opened its first cloud kitchen outside of Luzon in Cebu City.
A cloud kitchen is essentially a commissary that houses different food brands in one location where food delivery riders pick up orders for customers. Grab allows its consumers to order food from more than one restaurant here, providing them with a wider selection with just one delivery fee.

With our cloud kitchen, we are optimistic that Cebu culinary offerings will be enjoyed by more Filipinos both in the province and in other areas across the Philippines.”
Grab said it would expand the restaurants in the cloud kitchen in Cebu to include more homegrown brands as well as food companies from other regions in the next few months.
