Ikea Philippines Wants to Hire Part-Timers

IKEA Philippines wants to provide job opportunities for those who can't commit full time but need an extra source of income. 

The DIY furniture maker from Sweden announced this week openings for part-time workers ahead of the launch of its physical store in Pasay City.

"IKEA part-timers are directly hired by us, have job security, get competitive hourly rates and a comprehensive benefits package," the company said.

A quick look at the IKEA website shows that there are currently four job postings available for part-timers. These are:

• Warehouse assistant
• Sales associate
• Cashier
• Food Assistant
