Jollibee Group’s European expansion continues as the Filipino-originated conglomerate plans to kick off 2022 with the launch of its first-ever store in Scotland. Jollibee made headlines earlier this year for opening a flagship store in West End, London, and launching its first stores in Wales, Spain, and more.

As Jollibee sets its sights abroad, the homegrown brand plans to open 50 stores in Europe by 2025, with P3.3 billion allotted to the expansion plan.

“Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we continue to open more Jollibee stores and are glad to see the community’s support wherever we open. We look forward to bringing the joy of eating to more and more people in different parts of the world, sustaining our growth momentum as we enter 2022,” said Ernesto Tanmantiong, CEO of Jollibee Group.

Scotland won’t be the only new opening after the near year. The fast-food chain also plans to open its first store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and grow as many as 120 stores in Malaysia within the next ten years. In other parts of Southeast Asia, Jollibee will also open its 150th store in Vietnam, which is home to the largest Jollibee store network outside of the Philippines.

Jollibee Group operates over 5,800 stores in 34 countries and outside of Jollibee, also operates food brands such as Chowking, Mang Inasal, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Tim Ho Wan, and more.
