LalaFood Will Stop Operations on February 15

Lalamove Philippines has announced that its food delivery platform, LalaFood, will stop operating on February 15. According to a statement from Lalamove, the company will now be redirecting its focus “entirely on [its] core Lalamove delivery business.”
LalaFood began in 2018 as an “incubation project” by Lalamove to explore the food delivery sector. Almost three years after its launch, LalaFood will cease all operations one week from today, February 8.
“We express our deepest gratitude to all of LalaFood’s customers for your continued support, and to our partner riders and merchants who were with us throughout this journey,” said Lalamove.
All LalaFood accounts will be deactivated on February 16, so users have until next week to use up any free coupons.
In 2021, Lalamove plans to expand operations in Manila and Pampanga. The Philippines is one of the 24 markets where Lalamove operates.
