Apple Is the World's Most Valuable Brand Once Again
What are the most valuable brands in this day and age? That's the question that Kantar's latest report answers. With the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands ranking, the company analyzed 100 brands in media and entertainment, business solutions and technology providers, and retail categories.
Apple topped the list, with Google and Amazon following in second and third. Interestingly, the value of the most valuable brands increased by 23 percent to $8.7 trillion over the past year. Here are the most valuable brands of 2022.

Louis Vuitton was the first luxury brand to reach the top 10 as it experienced a 64 percent growth in brand value. While Tesla was cited as the biggest success story by Kantar as it climbed up to the 29th spot from last year's 47th spot.
"The pandemic has further accelerated growth of e-commerce in the retail category, hence brands with stronger connections to consumers have been able to sustain their growth online and beyond," Kantar said.
It continued, "Portfolio brands that have continued to innovate and diversify their offer have continued to grow, especially evident with Apple, Google, and Amazon, amongst others, as their services cross technology, entertainment and payment services."
