The Search for the Next Big Startup Begins as The Final Pitch Season 7 Premieres on October 24

Aspiring entrepreneurs, clear your schedules. The Final Pitch is returning to CNN Philippines on October 24.
Created and hosted by John Aguilar, the seventh season of The Final Pitch will consist of 10 episodes, all of which were shot in a hybrid setup to facilitate social distancing. The investor-judges will interact virtually with the contestants, who will be shooting on-site at The Final Pitch studios.
This season’s theme will focus on “nation-rebuilding” as all participating entrepreneurs and startups will pitch big ideas that will help the Philippines bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Before, we used to always emphasize nation-building, but with the challenges we continue to face, we realize that it is first and foremost a collective nation rebuilding effort. That's the focus of this season—to give a break to these entrepreneurs and introduce them to the right people who may be in a position to help them, whether it's through funding, resources, or network," shared Aguilar.
The investor-judges who will be examining these potentially groundbreaking startups are: Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO of Converge ICT Solutions; Bernard Dy, Cauayan City Mayor; Ricky Villarante, chairman and CEO of 8Ventures; Rose Ong, senior executive vice president and COO of Wilcon Depot; and David Almirol, founder & CEO of Multisys Technologies Corporation.
When we meet the contestants on television on October 24, all of them will have completed virtual business mentorship with this season’s selected business mentors, which include Dean Bernales, managing director, Uniquecorn Strategies; Patt Soyao, managing director, Icon Executive Search; and Hiyasmin Neri-Soyao, managing director, Shoppertainment Live.
The Final Pitch airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. starting October 24, with replays every Tuesday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
