In an interview with CNN Philippines’ Serbisyo Ngayon program, Gioca shared the top two hiring industries at the moment are call centers/IT-enabled services/business process outsourcing and the government.
Based on data sources from job ads on Jobstreet, call centers, IT-enables services, and BPO’s currently have 13,202 ads on the platform, followed by the government with 10,245 ads.
After the top two industries are human resources management and consulting with 8,101 ads and education with 7,125.
The following industries recorded ads between 1,000 and 2,000: retain/merchandise, computer/information technology, manufacturing/production, and healthcare/medical.
According to Gioca, the amount of jobs are increasing by the day, and BPOs are back on the rise as quarantine is easing.
With an average of 30,000 jobs available per day on the platform, it looks like some companies are slowly getting back on their feet.
