Here Are 4 Things You Need to Franchise Yellow Cab

Are you ready to fuel the hungry? If yes, then you might be up for a Yellow Cab franchise. The company’s tagline, “We Fuel The Hungry,” is a testament to its commitment, innovation, and drive to serve only the tastiest New York-style pizzas, pasta, and chicken for every hungry Filipino.
Back in 2001, the pizza restaurant giant opened its very first branch in Makati Avenue. Its sole mission was “to share a slice of New York to the Filipino people.” Since then, Yellow Cab pizzas have become iconic and loved by many because of their loaded toppings, premium ingredients, and authentic New York-style texture and taste.
Now with over 150 branches nationwide (and counting), Yellow Cab is truly a staple among Filipinos, especially for all-time pizza lovers. The brand is also expediting its global expansion to reach more Filipinos and soon-to-be-fans all over the world.
If you’re eyeing to run a Yellow Cab business of your own, here are important aspects you need to take note of:
1| The capital
Yellow Cab offers two types of franchise packages with different required capitals. The mall-based franchise package is worth P10 million to P12 million while the standalone franchise package is worth P12 million to P15 million. These packages include: store construction; equipment, machineries, furniture and fixtures; initial manpower hiring and training; pre-opening marketing support and operations support; and franchise fee. The franchise term is 10 years and renewable for another five years.
2| The space and location
Yellow Cab requires its mall-based store to cover 100 sqm. to 150 sqm. Meanwhile, the standalone store’s lot area must be 600 sqm. to 800 sqm. “Usually, the franchise applicant proposes the store location subject to our site assessment, analysis and approval. However, the company may also match sites for the approved franchise applicant,” as stated in Yellow Cab’s official website. Franchise stores will be built based on the standard store design and layout.
3| The qualifications
You will be qualified to become a Yellow Cab franchisee if you are: experienced in food and retail business, financially capable, someone who has a good network in the trade area of the proposed store, and dedicated and posseses the infrastructure to manage the store.
4| The enthusiasm for pizza
There are pizza restaurants almost everywhere you go, but if you have the love, passion, and innovative drive to succeed in the pizza restaurant industry, you’re a perfect fit for Yellow Cab. “With ingredients that fit perfectly together, Yellow Cab Pizza Co. serves products that people from all generations keep coming back to. No matter what the occasion is, pizza, pasta, and other stuff will always be a good idea,” Yellow Cab says on its website.
Yellow Cab is one of the brands owned by Max’s Group, Inc. (MGI), the biggest casual dining restaurant company in the Philippines. Along with it are Max’s Restaurant, Pancake House, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice, Teriyaki Boy, Sizzlin’ Steak, and Dencio’s.
