JCB, Japan's Only International Payment Brand, is Looking for ASEAN Business Partners
This includes start-ups, financial institutions, and small businesses.

The only Japan-based international brand, JCB, is preparing to extend and expand its tried-and-tested services to ASEAN countries including the Philippines. Japan, as a country, has always been conservative and traditional when it comes to doing business with international brands and companies but JCB has always been the exception.
The Japan-based company has always been pioneering innovative and cutting-edge payment solutions for the country in order to cater to when it comes to catering to the ever-evolving needs of its clients, a characteristic that is not common in their traditional home country where majority of transactions are still cash-based.
Now, apart from planning to extend its current services to the ASEAN market, they hope to venture into creating new business opportunities beyond the framework of their current business in the ASEAN region. This involved working closely with local financial institutions, start-ups, and with Japanese companies operating in the rapidly growing region.
One of their first projects that is currently ongoing is their new organization based in Singapore that has begun their expansion activities last June 2021. JCB has invested five million dollars in SoftSpace, a Malaysian Fintech company. This is the first among many projects that they hope to invest in. JCB is excited to partner up with start-ups and financial institutions in the Phiippines and ASEAN region to explore new profit solutions and grow with them.
