BPI's TG Limcaoco and SM's Jeffrey Lim Named the Best CEOs From the Philippines By FinanceAsia

Four Filipino CEOs were named among the best in Asia.

It’s one thing to land on a Bloomberg or Forbes list due to net worth, it’s another to be named as Best CEO by FinanceAsia based on leadership. Four Filipino CEOs have just won that honor from FinanceAsia’s Best Managed Companies of 2023.

BPI CEO TG Limcaoco and SM Prime Holdings, Inc. CEO Jeffrey C. Lim were honored with the Gold award under the Best CEO category for the Philippines.

Limcaoco is only the 14th president and CEO of BPI’s 170-year history. He was appointed in 2020 and steered BPI through the height of the pandemic. Limcaoco was recently appointed as the next president of the Bankers Association of the Philippines, an organization comprised of the country’s biggest banks.

Meanwhile, fellow awardee Jeffrey C. Lim has been the president of SM Prime since 2016. A member of the company’s executive committee, Lim holds various board and executive positions in SMPH’s subsidiaries.

Megawide Construction Corporation CEO Edgar Saavedra won Silver, and International Container Terminal Services, Inc. CEO Enrique K. Razon Jr. won Bronze.
