JAZA Launches Interview Show with BPI

After stepping down as CEO of Ayala Corp., Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala is paying forward his knowledge and experience with a surprising new interview series with Bank of the Philippine Islands.
BPI previously teased JAZA's new "role" a few weeks ago with a viral social media post, but it seems that role is not corporate—JAZA's new role is that of interviewer and host of the new mini-series After Six in which the Ayala Corp. chairman will sit down with the country's most prominent industry trailblazers.
“At After Six, we leave our desks for a more casual spot to hear from some of the country’s change-makers—on what drives them, as well as what they do to recharge and stay inspired. We learn about how BPI enables them as they work to build a better Philippines,” said JAZA.

Curiously enough, JAZA revealed to Financial Times last year that his second career choice would have been to be an interviewer or journalist like David Rubenstein, the co-founder of The Carlyle Group who now has his own show on Bloomberg Television. It seems JAZA is finally getting the chance to pursue this dream.
After Six's first guest is Brian Cu, an industry leader best known for co-founding Grab Philippines and Zalora Philippines. The first episode explores Cu's career in tech and transport and his plans to add value to the jeepney sector.
“After Six is a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit that connects many of our BPI Preferred clients. It’s a peek behind the curtain to discover what makes them tick, their diverse interests, and why after six is really when the fun begins,” said Mariana Zobel de Ayala, BPI deputy head of marketing, and daughter of JAZA.
The series aims to strengthen the bank's relationship with its Preferred clients, build a like-minded community, and empower Filipino entrepreneurs.
