Ricky Razon Thanks Cargo Frontliners in Inspiring Video Produced by His Son

The Manila International Container Terminal has remained open during the extended community quarantine, especially to make sure important food cargo and other essentials such as PPEs, medical equipment, and medicine can enter the country and be distributed immediately to doctors and medical workers attending to COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the country.

International Container and Terminal Services, one of the nation's largest cargo services provider, says all its terminals are “fully operational.”

“We are taking every measure to protect our employees, clients, and the communities interacting with our Terminals, while ensuring that our part of the logistics chain is operating smoothly,” says a statement on the company website. "All ICTSI Terminals are fully operational as our teams continue to work with local and national authorities in all jurisdictions to prevent the further spread of COVID-19."

Enrique Razon, chairman of the board of ICTSI, today expressed gratitude to his employees who have been working on the ground, in an inspiring video message produced by his son Enzo Razon over the weekend.

Razon grew up immersed in cargo handling as a member of the third generation of the family business that now includes port management, stevedoring, cargo handling, and other port services. He and his nephew, Christian Gonzalez, have been working at their port offices regularly during the extended community quarantine to ensure operations are running smoothly.
