Senator Miguel Zubiri admits he is a proud plantito in a post on Facebook.
“I’m sooo happy that my New Guinea Creeper is starting to bloom on my mini trellis on the farm. I talk to it every chance I get haha and it seems it’s paying off with beautiful orange red blooms! A proud Plantito moment,” the Senate majority leader wrote.
Zubiri says he’s loved planting ornamentals since his college days at University of the Philippines Los Baños. He graduated with a degree in Agribusiness Management. He later earned a Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management degree from the University of the Philippines Open University.
