He also founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation and was the founding sponsor of the Tech Museum, Silicon Valley Ballet and Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose, California.
Wozniak is the recipient of multiple awards and citations for his achievements in the technology sector as well as his humanitarian work. In 2014, he was awarded the Hoover Medal, a prestigious honor given for "outstanding extra-career services by engineers to humanity," and was inducted into the Industry Week Manufacturing Hall of Fame and received the Legacy for Children Award from the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose in 2015.

Next month, Filipinos will get the chance to hear from Wozniak himself as he is the special guest speaker in the online fireside chat titled “Leaders Inspiring Leader.” He will be speaking alongside Ernest Cu, President & CEO of Globe Telecom; and Tommanny Tan, President & CEO of Filipino Entrepreneurs and Resources Network International (i-fern).
