Elon Musk Is, Once Again, the Richest Person in the World

No, wait! We got some good Elon Musk this time—sike, it's still the same Muskian dystopian billionaire bullcrap again, although less controversial. After losing the title of richest man in the world to French tycoon Bernard Arnault a few months back, the chief twit has regained the top spot.
Musk's Tesla Inc. stock price is maintaining a steady 70 percent surge in 2023. The company has also cut down prices on several of its models to stimulate demand. Tesla shares, effectively, rose. This would lead Musk's net worth to grow to $187.1 billion, based on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
He has officially surpassed the magnate Arnault, who has a personal fortune of (only?) $185.3 billion. The 73-year-old is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of luxury-goods powerhouse Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH).

Interestingly, Musk holds the distinction of being the richest person in the world and the first person in history to lose $200 billion after a steep slide in Tesla shares. He had even given up about 11.6 million Tesla shares to unspecified charitable organizations from August to December, which translates to about $1.9 billion. It didn't make much of a difference.
Tesla investors had been scared off by Musk's reinvention of Twitter, which he had acquired in October after a public spat with its board. Musk has still maintained that he would resign in the event that he would find someone "foolish" enough to take on the role.
The 51-year-old billionaire tech guy has been even busier as chief twit as of late and his antics haven't damaged his reputation as much as analysts had previously predicted. He's been making big changes as of late, reportedly firing 200 more Twitter employees in another major overhaul in the company. Of course, he also just had to back Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams following his racist tirade. Yikes.
