AirPNP? This Curfew Violator Gave Pasig Police Headquarters a Five-Star Review
These days we’re used to seeing reviews for all kinds of accommodations, but Google user strawboinic gaming’s glowing testimonial about Pasig City police headquarters is probably a first. Nine months ago, strawboinic was detained overnight for violating curfew, and his feedback includes everything you’d expect to see in an Airbnb review:
“The officers on duty were really nice and polite. The jail cell was spacious and they practice social distancing inside although the smell inside wasn't very nice. The food that they provide is also ok the rice is not NFA and the viand is freshly cooked. Some of the inmates were also friendly. I had a really nice experience here. 5 stars!”
Department of Foreign Affairs director Aaron Lozada posted a screenshot of the review along with high praise for Mayor Vico Sotto. The post made the rounds of Twitter and Reddit, and as usual, Filipinos were quick to crack jokes about the unusual review.
Others pointed out it’s great that the detainee’s rights were respected.
While there’s no way of knowing whether the review is authentic, it certainly added some much-needed levity to everyone’s day. And it looks like people are jumping on the bandwagon—as of this writing, Pasig City Police Headquarters has a new review from user NoobMaster 69: "Nice Food."
