GUILTY: Zaldy and Andal Ampatuan, Others Convicted for Maguindanao Massacre

Several members of the Ampatuan clan were found guilty for the Maguindanao Massacre. The Quezon City Regional Trial Court sentenced brothers Zaldy and Andal "Unsay" Ampatuan Jr. to reclusion perpetua without bail.

The Maguindanao Massacre is the worst case of political violence in the world, with 58 victims. It is also the deadliest event for journalists in history, with 34 journalists having died in the massacre.
