Game of Thrones and James Bond Star Diana Rigg Has Passed Away at 82

She played the role of the formidable Olenna Tyrell, Queen of Thorns.

Diana Rigg, famous for her role in the HBO series Game of Thrones as Olenna Tyrell, has died at the age of 82. 

According to her daughter, actress Rachael Stirling, Rigg was diagnosed with cancer in March. 

"She spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter and a deep pride in her profession," Stirling told the BBC.

Apart from her epic role as the Queen of Thorns in GOT, Dame Diana also played the only woman who became Mrs. James Bond.
