Marcos and his supporters have long contested Robredo’s win a number of times, demanding a recount to prove the alleged vote manipulation. The man in the viral video happens to be Jeff Ortega, the director of the Department of Tourism – Ilocos Region. Aside from being a government official, Ortega is an entrepreneur involved in a number of business ventures in La Union, such as La Union Surf School.
