Kim Jong-un is allegedly alive and well. The Supreme Leader of North Korea recently resurfaced at an event celebrating the completion of a fertilizer factory. The supposed public appearance was reported by North Korean state media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Other media sites, however, could not independently confirm or deny the news. No photos have also been released.

Kim has not been publicly seen in 20 days, the last time being April 11 when he chaired a Worker's Party meeting. Just last week, news reports spread that the North Korean leader was in a "fragile condition" and in "grave danger" following a cardiovascular procedure on April 12.

South Korea, however, denied these claims and stated on April 27 that Kim was alive and well, with "no suspicious movements detected."

Now, if KCNA is to be believed, it seems that the Supreme Leader has recuperated from his illness. His sister Kim Yo-jong, who would have likely succeeded him, was also in attendance at the fertilizer event.
