Manny Pacquiao Says He's Open to An Alliance With Tito Sotto

Presidential candidate Manny Pacquiao said Wednesday he was open to forming an alliance with Senate President Vicente Sotto III should his running mate Lito Atienza quit the vice presidential race due to a leg problem.

Atienza, who has yet to campaign physically since last month due to a knee procedure, has expressed a preference for Sotto according to Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has been going around the Philippines without Atienza since the start of the campaign period last month. Sotto meanwhile is running for vice president along with independent candidate Ping Lacson.

The retired boxer added that he was supposed to meet with Sotto last Monday but had to reschedule due to his meeting with Space X senior managers.
