Typhoon Ulysses has reportedly left Luzon, but there is no denying the devastation in its wake. Cars have been submerged by the floods, some to the point of no return. Marikina River flooded beyond its record Typhoon Ondoy levels, causing it to overflow in the surrounding communities. And in Marikina, one of the hardest hit cities, what were once roads are now functioning rivers as rescue teams aboard boats attempt to save stranded residents.
Like a scene from a disaster movie, here is the devastation caused by Typhoon Ulysses to the city of Marikina.
