Tabo Max: Orocan's Answer to the Airpod Max
It’s simple, minimalist, and it starts at P69.50 for two pieces. Orocan’s Tabo Max has won social media with its hilarious parody of the newly announced Airpods Max, Apple’s very first over-ears, noise-canceling headphones.
"Orocan has announced the Tabo Max. Featuring a high-sheen plastic finish, adaptive handle, active water retention, and maximum buoyancy factor. The Tabo Max comes in 6 colors: red, blue, green, white, light blue, and light green, and is always available to order with prices starting at P69.50 for 2 pcs, one for each cheek. Max masarap sa pwet ang Tabo Max," said Orocan in its Facebook post.
Orocan is notorious for its cheeky ads and Facebook posts, including the one on its cover photo: "Bili na kayo please, pampabuenas lang!"
On December 8, Apple unveiled the AirPods Max, the first headphones the company ever produced. It comes with a price tag of $550 or roughly P27,000 to P33,000, depending on the retail store. As with every Apple release, the product sent meme generators into overdrive, with witty comments arising minutes after the announcement. Orocan's is just one of them.
