And this couldn’t have been better represented than when GMA news anchor Vicky Morales’ script slip happened, revealing large letters that spelled out “Pa-review ng script please.”

The veteran reporter had a slight mishap on 24 Oras when she accidentally held her script the wrong way, with viewers around the nation getting a peek at the words written on the back of the paper. It was a funny moment for the internet, and a universal mood for the horror story that is 2020.
Oh sure, the year started off great. Parasite won at the Oscars and Hamilton is now on Disney Plus. But things went downhill from there when the proverbial shit hit in the fan. And 2020 continues to plague our existence.
We’ve got a presidential spokesperson swimming with dolphins, people naming their kids after COVID, sexually suggestive textbooks in Catholic schools, and a motorcycle shield that defied every sense of logic.
Not to mention the weekly inuman sessions during lockdown presscons where we take a shot for every long-winded side story or anecdote. And down the entire bottle when there’s a “brrt brrt” broadcast on national television.
Plus a pandemic.
And of course the white sand beach in Manila Bay, which is apparently now a… very expensive gray sand beach.
Last, let’s not forget the soap opera taking place in Congress.
