In the world of sneakers, a thick-soled, fresh white pair continues to reign supreme. The footwear experts at Adidas are keeping the trend strong with their latest drop: the Yung-1 sneaker. This shoe is in collaboration with Wardrobe.NYC, a luxury direct-to-consumer service, which is selling the shoe as part of a bundle set to be released in July.

The partnership with Wardrobe.NYC matters for more than just aesthetic purposes. If you're unfamiliar, the luxury concept just launched in December 2017, and sells clothes in a "wardrobe bundle" rather than as individual pieces. So, to get the sneaker firsthand, you'll have to partake in the next drop, which goes for a cool $1,500. Although private orders (friends, family, etc.) drop later in June, the public reveal will be July 10. Pre-registration is available online now.

The July drop, called Release 02 / Sport, will be a 10-piece wardrobe (in women's and men's iterations) for $1,500. The men's bundle will include the Yung-1, T-shirts, running shorts, and track gear. And you likely won't regret the package, based on the sneaker alone. The gum-soled shoe flirts with the fine line between high-fashion and pure function, and it does so well. And if it's any indication, the rest of the bundle will be worth the price—and the wait.
