Quiccs is a Filipino visual artist, illustrator, and toy designer who is fast becoming one of the most recognizable names in his industry today. In the new installment of his ongoing link-up with Adidas, he showcases his love for art and basketball. After last year’s hugely successful launch of his partnership with the sportswear giant, these collaborators are at it again, releasing two new tee designs that continues the first Pinoy-created product range for the three stripes.
The two fresh new styles bring together Quiccs’ affinity for Japanese robots, hip hop culture, as well as Filipinos’ undying love affair with the game of basketball. Featuring his bestselling character TEQ63, the robot is once again decked out in all Adidas everything and ready to do battle on the hard court this time around.

"For this year, our campaign is with the basketball category,” Quiccs says. “We just adjusted and animated TEQ63 to the sport, which I am also a huge fan of. Filipinos are huge enthusiasts of basketball so this is truly enjoyable for me.”
Made lightweight and comfortable, the Quiccs Summer Pack tees are perfect for Manila’s hellish weather in probably the hottest summer we can remember. They’re breathable and super easy to move in whether you’re making moves on the court or on the street. Made in Manila. Made for the world.

“At Adidas Philippines, we are always aiming to inspire not just the next generations of athletes, but also up and coming local artists,” says Jen Dacasin, Adidas Philippines Brand Activation Manager. “We want to keep coming up with designs that not only drive purpose and positive change, but encourage individuals to be proud of their roots and with his love for basketball and passion for art, this makes Quiccs the perfect collaborator to see that vision come to life. We are excited to see the continuation of our long-term partnership with him, and we look forward to seeing where it will continue to take us in the future.”
Who is Quiccs
Born Juanito Maiquez, the thirtysomething design visionary is no stranger to co-branded work, having done collabs in the past with designer toy company Kidrobot on its Dunny series, as well as on a Hello Kitty art figure, among others.

A product of Ateneo de Manila University, Quiccs also came out with the special edition Magis TEQ63 limited to only 400 pieces just last year. The toy was produced to help raise funds for the school’s Tulong Sulong project, an employment and entrepreneurship program for vulnerable communities. We also hear he has something exciting coming up with a local company kicking off in the very near future.
However, his relationship with Adidas is an extremely special one for the artist who has been a long-time fan of the brand.
"Just the partnership is a dream come true,” Maiquez shares. “I will always be taking this chance of a lifetime as an inspiration to give my best at all times.”
We can only hope for more products coming our way from Quiccs and Adidas.

The Adidas x Quiccs Summer Pack tees are available at select Adidas stores, Adidas.com.ph, or the Adidas Viber store.
