Aigle's Latest Collection Has All Your Adventures Covered in Terms of Style and Function
Chances are, you've got a couple of pieces in your wardrobe meant exclusively for outdoor activities. And most of the time, they sit there collecting dust until your next adventure. Unless you're a professional adventurer, it really doesn't make sense to keep pieces you won't use all year round. Thankfully, Aigle has answered the call to make outdoor clothing more versatile.
The trouble with gear for hikes, treks, and what have you is that it usually values function over form. Not that we're saying that's a bad thing... just that, mixing both elements is definitely possible. And that's exactly what Aigle is doing in its latest collection. Aptly named Grande Aventure, Aigle took inspiration from nature to come up with the camouflage-laden collection. Only this time, it's far more different than the usual print we're used to. To shake things up, the French brand incorporated modernity through geometric patterns and prints that were created by overlaying leaves.
Aside from that, there are nautical-inspired pieces. Think cool blues, whites, yellows in bright tones, and refreshingly, no Breton stripes. There's also something to be said for the short-sleeved shirts which look like they came straight from a streetwear brand. Meanwhile, function comes in with Aigle’s Gore-Tex fabric, which allows skin to breathe while being completely flexible and comfortable. Not to mention, each piece is ultra-lightweight and waterproof.
