Well, folks, awards season has officially begun. Tonight, at the Beverly Hilton, the biggest names in film and television gathered to celebrate their achievements in 2025. Celebrities will be (playfully, respectfully) roasted courtesy of host Nikki Glaser. Glasses of champagne—many of them—will be hoisted. Acceptance speeches will run long, someone will be unforgivably snubbed, and, in all likelihood, someone else will decide to use their time at the podium to lob a verbal bomb or two at the sorry state of the world.

Yep. The 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards have arrived, and a whole lot of well-dressed guys have arrived with them. Thanks to its early position on the awards calendar—and the aforementioned champagne—the show has a bit of a reputation for overindulgence. In prior years, that's applied to fashion, too. This time around, though, the men on the red carpet seem to be aiming for the sweet spot. Sure, there's some outlandish stuff that's clearly been engineered to get lips flapping. But on the whole, the looks seem designed to spark conversation without veering into costume-y territory.

Damson Idris arrived in a strong-shouldered, double-breasted number from Prada. Glen Powell rocked up in a midnight-blue, shawl-collar, velvety dinner jacket complemented by tinted glasses. And Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie reminded everyone why wide-leg trousers have been having such a moment recently. But that's just a peek into the proceedings.
