President Bongbong Marcos Wore a Pepito Albert Barong on Inauguration Day

Bongbong Marcos stepped out in a barong paired with gray trousers, Sapatero Manila shoes, and a Patek Philippe watch for his inauguration. Ahead of the inauguration, Marcos confirmed that the barong was designed by Pepito Albert who also designed Irene Marcos-Araneta's terno for the occasion.
Albert is a fashion designer who has learning experience in Los Angeles and Paris. He's known for his clean cuts and refined silhouettes. Through the years, he's dressed celebrities, politicians, and other notable personalities. His works have also been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle.
For his ceremony, he chose a rayadillo-inspired garment. The material was used back then to make military uniforms worn by Spanish colonial soldiers. But, Marcos isn't wearing just one barong for the day's festivities.
He has a second Pepito Albert barong that he'll wear later in the day.
