COS Is Opening Its First Store in the Philippines

You can finally shop the minimalist brand here.

After Monki's opening early last year, COS is the next brand from the H&M Group to come to the Philippines. The soon-to-open store will be the third from the group to land on our shores.

Launched in 2007, COS is a London-based clothing brand that's known for its distinct Scandinavian-inspired minimalism. Pieces from the more high-end label are more modern and functional than what H&M typically offers. In total, the brand has over 200 stores in over 40 markets.

Details are still scarce, but what we do know is that the store will open in SM Aura Premier in spring 2021. The space is currently blocked off and under construction, but we'll probably get to shop the brand's cool and modern styles very, very soon.

In a statement, COS Asia Pacific managing director Christoffer Sellin said: "Opening in the Philippines is an exciting step for the COS brand. We have been hoping to enter the market for some time and I think our new Manila store is a great place to start. I'm excited to see how new customers will engage with our brand and collections."

Here's to hoping we see more H&M Group brands like Weekday, & Other Stories, and ARKET on our side of the country.

In other news, IKEA Philippines will reportedly be available to shop online ahead store's opening with e-commerce delivery to the Greater Manila Area. Here's everything you need to know about IKEA Philippines (so far).
