The Beckhams Were The World's Best-Dressed Boy Band At Victoria's LFW Show

It was, I like to think, a tribute to matriarch Victoria's former life as a globe-conquering pop star. Here they come, the Beckhams, the latest boy band off the Syco production line, eyes in the middle-distance, sang froid AF. And the we-all-get-up-on-the-key-change vibe was amplified by the look: grail Dior, leaning heavily on the brand's recent collab with Air Jordan.

There, on the left, Romeo Beckham, biting the (almost) exact look worn by Travis Scott in the brand's Air Dior campaign (bonus points for the Air Jordan 1 High OG, currently going for more than £20k on StockX). On the right, the band's babyfaced one, Cruz, in Air Dior polo and oversized shorts, finished with the saddle bag that Kim Jones has turned into menswear's hottest accessory, and a stack of jewelry he must have nabbed from dad's strongbox. And in the middle, David, in daddy Dior: a techy parka, track pants and sliders – with socks! – which predictably sent the non-illuminated into paroxysms on Twitter.

The Beckhams have been front row stalwarts for Kim Jones, first at Louis Vuitton and now at Dior, so it makes sense that he'd make sure they were well-stocked with his new collection (it helps that, with a combined bajillion followers, there'll now be a lot more people who want those clothes, too). But it also proved that, for fashion's first family, those who dress together, stay together. The trio was on their way to support Victoria's show at this year's London Fashion Week, which had been downscaled late in the day as the designer felt a full runway walk would be "inappropriate."
Ultimately, her family were the only guests at the show. For most designers, that would feel very university-end-of-year-project. For the Beckhams, it made for the glitteriest front row on earth.
