Want to look like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on his recent press tour? No problem at all. Just hit the gym for five hours a day every day for the next three years, spend your life savings on boiled chicken and tubs of protein powder, forget ever touching a cupcake again, and you’re on your way. Or, if growing cartoonishly giant muscles isn’t exactly your thing, maybe just head on over to Todd Snyder and upgrade your closet with some of The Rock’s best summer fits instead.

Over the last few weeks, while out promoting his latest film Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, the man with the most dramatic eyebrow arch in the history of pro wrestling has put together some seriously solid looks. We're talking about the type of combos that will serve you everywhere from St. Tropez yachts to lazy Sundays at your favorite local taco stand. And much of it has come courtesy of popular NYC brand Todd Snyder. We’ve picked out some of our favorites for you, and laid out the hows and whys of making them your own go-tos. Check out the looks below.

First up is this Liberty-print, camp-collar shirt. When it comes to shirting, a printed camp-collar is basically the zenith of great style. They can be worn by themselves or open over a T-shirt, or even layered under a blazer, and they’ll always add that right mix of elegance and punch compared to more standard fare. And Todd Snyder makes some of the best printed camp-collars on the market. Granted, most of us won’t test the tensile strength of a sleeve the way The Rock does, but even without all of that extra bicep real estate, anyone can still look great.

In a sea of jeans and chinos, a crisp pair of wool trousers is a surefire way to elevate your outfit over the rest of the crowd—even for a casual look, as Mr. Johnson demonstrates so stylishly here. The trick is to stick to something relatively classic, like this simple Sutton navy trousers, to allow for maximum play up top and down below (i.e., shirts and shoes). The Rock keeps it low key with a blue polo and loafers, but don’t be afraid to spice things up with bolder shirt, and maybe a colored suede loafer, or even a low profile sneaker.

Sometimes mother nature throws a curve at you, or maybe you’re just in a place where the evening temps can dip into chillier territory. In either case, as Mr. The Rock demonstrates, a lightweight green suede jacket will give you the perfect mix of stylish pop and roguish nonchalance.

The Rock's Style Bonus Round

A great pair of sunglasses are a must. First of all, they protect your eyes. And second, the right pair can make you look roughly 300 percent cooler. For The Rock, that means a contemporary take on the classic Clubmaster frame from eyewear brand Krewe. Called the CBD, these frames feature the same acetate tortoise shell brow lines as iconic Clubmaster models of the ‘50s, but with a more modern and angular silhouette. They’re shades that will up your summer style game, plus give you a dose of The Rock’s ultra-badass red-carpet polish. And who couldn’t use a little of that?
