Ferragamo's Latest Campaign Will Make You Want to Put on a Cowboy Hat and Boots

For pre-spring 2023, Ferragamo creative director Maximilian Davis drew inspiration from the American Western. It's not all out of the blue—Salvatore Ferragamo created cowboy boots for the 1923 film The Covered Wagon. Using that, Davis incorporated denim, pocket detailing, gingham, and belt-wrapped bags and loafers into the collection.

"I want to explore what contemporary essentials are, from denim to eveningwear," explained Davis. "To take classic pieces in the everyday wardrobe and twist or subvert them with textures and materials that make them feel more modern, more playful and more unexpected."

Shot by Tyler Mitchell, the campaign shows models Lulu Tenney, Anass Bouazzaoui, Mamuor Majeng, and Sijia Kang in the pre-spring 2023 collection as they channel Hollywood's high-octane glamour—but with a more casual ease. Take a look below.
