Balenciaga Just Revealed An Unexpected Collaboration With... Fortnite

Introducing the Balenciaga Fit Set.

You really never know what to expect with fashion these days. After all, we've gotten crazy collabs that we never thought would happen in a million years. A few spring to mind: Dior and Jordan Brand, KFC and Crocs, heck, even Gucci and Balenciaga have released a capsule together. Really, at this point, few things surprise us.

One thing that comes close, however, is Balenciaga's recent announcement of its collab with Fortnite. In a partnership that Fortnite calls a "high digital fashion" drop to the game, players can express themselves with help from the Balenciaga Fit Set. Imagine that, a kid can now eliminate you and dance upon your death wearing a full Balenciaga fit.

The Balenciaga Fit Set features outfits, back blings, pickaxes, gliders, wraps, sprays, and an emote inspired by archival looks from Balenciaga. Want more Balenciaga on the game? Fortnite community creators Shride, MakaMakes, and Pimit have created a virtual Balenciaga store in the Strange Times Featured Hub. Plus, there will be a live lookbook campaign where you can be featured.

The collab doesn't end there, though. Balenciaga has just released a full capsule featuring graphics related to Fortnite.

Fortnite 2021 Hoodie Medium Fit in Red/White

The 50-piece collection features items that Balenciaga's been known for under Gvasalia's direction including hoodies, caps, and denim jackets. There are also the label's recently popular designs like the Speed 3.0 sneakers, Triple S sneakers, and Hourglass bag.

Seeing as Fortnite is one of the most played games, the collection is bound to sell out—probably in minutes. So, what are you waiting for?
