Gucci Just Announced a Digital Film Festival Featuring Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and More

Fashion is a visual art. Much like art, it has gone beyond photographs to deliver compelling images by crossing over to film. It's why Gucci's latest move into film festivals makes perfect sense. Gucci, a virtual fashion film festival, will present a miniseries and culminate with creative director Alessandro Michele's latest collection.

GucciFest will stream on YouTube, Weibo, and it's very own site from November 16 to 22. The main highlight is the Ouverture of Something That Never Ended, which will be co-directed by filmmaker Gus Van Sant and Michele.
The miniseries, which was shot in Rome, will be divided into seven different parts. It will feature Silvia Calderoni, as well as Gucci brand ambassadors such as Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Jeremy O. Harris, and Florence Welch.
Earlier this year, Michele announced that he would limit Gucci's fashion shows to two. His presentation at GucciFest will be the first to follow the new objective, so it will be exciting to see what Michele comes up with.
The GucciFest will also screen fashion films from 15 emerging designers: Ahluwalia, Shanel Campbell, Stefan Cooke, Cormio, Charles De Vilmorin, JordanLuca, Mowalola, Yueqi Qi, Rave Review, Gui Rosa, Rui, Bianca Saunders, Collina Strada, Boramy Viguier, and Gareth Wrighton.
