Yup, those custom designs are all unauthorized. Now, you can at least make up for all those times since you can finally cop real Gucci in the game. That's right, the game has Gucci-authorized designs available for everyone.

To promote Gucci Off the Grid, a new collection made up of sustainably sourced materials, Gucci has collaborated with The Sims content creator Grimcookies for clothes your character can wear. The drop includes several accessories, from bags and shoes to accessories such as hats.

"In the spirit of Gucci’s vision to support young creatives and our commitment to generate positive change for people and planet, the House announces a player-made gaming collaboration focused on sustainability with custom content created for the community of The Sims 4," Gucci said in a statement.

This isn't the first time The Sims has put joined gaming and fashion. If you remember, Jeremy Scott and Moschino collaborated with the game in more official terms. Gucci's campaign, on the other hand, takes a more guerrilla approach with partnerships with content creators instead.
