What to Wear With Your Yeezys: Here Are 4 Examples

You waited all day in line for them, so here's how to wear them.

So you've finally snagged yourself a pair of Adidas Yeezys. Maybe you waited all day in line. Maybe you paid some kid to wait in line for you. Or maybe you just emptied your bank account to buy them on the resale market. Either way, you finally have one of the most hyped sneakers on earth sitting in your closet. Which means you might be asking yourself, how the hell do I wear them? With their fashion-forward styling, Yeezys can sometimes be tricky to match up to your wardrobe. While you could go full Yeezy by donning the season 4 collection, you maybe want an option that won't make you look like a post-apocalyptic fitness instructor. Whether you're a 350 V2 man, or whether the retro-inspired Powerphase are your jam, here are 4 ways to wear your Yeezy shoes.

YEEZY 350 V2

Aside from maybe the Powerphase, these are probably the easiest Yeezys to style. They're not quite the all-arounders of an Adidas Ultra boost, but as long as you stick to a more casual street style-ish look, you'll be okay. The biggest key is to wear them with pants that are either cropped or cuffed. They won't look very good with the hem stacking over them. Try faded cuffed jeans with a pastel-colored tee layered under a bold-patterned short-sleeve button-up.

The Yeezy that started it all (well, for Adidas anyway), this is still the most fashion-forward of the sneakers, and also the trickiest to style. If you're of the goth ninja variety, then you just keep doing you. For everyone else, stick to a low key color-palette, and style with a pair of dark joggers (you definitely want something tapered and high at the ankle—no hem stacking here), a loose cut neutral-colored tee, and a faded denim jacket.

The original Yeezy low-top, this one can be worn with a pretty straight-forward, casual look. But if you're feeling a little adventurous, these would be perfect for going monochromatic. Wear them with black jeans, a black button-up shirt, and a black cotton bomber jacket. Perfect for a night out on the town.

With these retro-inspired Yeezys, you have a much bigger palette to work with in terms of styling. Stick with the normcore vibe by pairing this with a slim pair of chinos, a light blue hoodie, and a navy tee.
