That Guy From 'Jurassic Park' Tore Up Every Style Rule Again
Keep it simple, they said. Never clash prints with prints, they said. Well, 'they' don't know what they're talking about, or so says perennial destroyer of style rules Jeff Goldblum.
At the annual InStyle Awards in Los Angeles, the 66-year-old wore a dark printed suit, a textured shirt, snakeskin tie, and some zebra print kicks—a migraine on paper, but on his still-slender frame, an unexpected triumph.
Of course, Goldblum's renaissance has been well documented here and elsewhere. What he brings to style is a sense of joy, and a refreshing reminder that taking chances with your wardrobe doesn't have to stop at 40, 50, or even 60. The print-on-print-on-print follows similar standout moments, such as Goldblum's penchant for Prada half-and-half shirts and various looks in velvet and silk. The man likes his texture, clearly.
