The Inspiring (And Surprising) Style Rehabilitation Of Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill, the funny fat one from Superbad; the one that has to masturbate in front of Margot Robbie in Wolf of Wall Street so that Scorsese would let him into the club (it's ok, he's friends with Leo now); the one that looks a bit like Seth Rogen and dresses like him, too...that Jonah Hill.

He's even become a muse for London's trendiest streetwear brand, Palace, appearing in their videos and acting as an incongruous sort of L.A ambassador for the label, rocking it long before Soho skate kids were queueing for days to claw for a piece of each and every new collection.

Shedding off both the weight and awkward style inclinations of his formative years, Jonah Hill is now, in his own subtle way, one of the best-dressed guys in the public eye; one who gains particular credit due to the fact that he's working with a totally normal genetic hand.

While the more well-trodden young style iconsyour Goslings, ASAP Rockys and Zayn Maliksare in possession of slender frames that are built for clothes and campaigns, along with 0.01 percent bone structures (always helps), Jonah is a regular-looking guy with a quietly confident take on understated, modern dressing. And for that we applaud him.

Despite obviously being a Hollywood actor with a bank account (we assume) to match, the real inspiration comes from the fact that the major leap in Hill's overall aesthetic has come from simple measures that every man can take towards self-improvement: slimming down, getting a better haircut, and finding an easygoing, well-fitting day-to-day uniform that suits his body shape.

Jonah Hill isn't a Gucci muse like Jared Leto, so he doesn't fall into the young money trap of trying to force it anyway. Instead, his look is typically expensively scuffed trainers, dark chinos or jeans in a relaxed cut, and a quality bomber jacket (remember: invest in outerwear), steps that are easily replicable, yet often ignored by men with peacock / adonis aspirations.

We can't all look or dress like the Ryan Goslings and Frank Oceans of the world, andas shown by Jonahthat's perfectly OK.

In fact, it's actually pretty cool.
