Kanye West's New Trainer Is Ugly As Hell

Say what you will about the man, when Kanye West releases a pair of trainers they sell out...fast. But he might have a slightly trickier time winning round the streetwear set with his latest silhouette.

Clearly influenced by the burgeoning trend amongst high-end designers to release 'ugly' trainers- by which we mean bulky and bold in the extreme - new images of West's soon-to-be-released running sneaker makes them look like something straight out of a Florida retirement home.

Teased by West's long-term friend Ibn Jasper, the so-far unnamed runners are said to be part of West's upcoming YEEZY season 6 line, and clearly take inspiration from the likes of Balenciaga, Raf Simons and, most recently, Gucci, brands that have all taken a shine to the 'Normcore' side of trainer design that we called a couple of months back.
