It's Now Easier to Be Bold and Playful Because Kenzo Is Now In Manila

This year, we saw a lot of brands pop-up in Manila. Ambush and Rhude are just some that come to mind, and we have Akimbo to thank for both. The multi-brand streetwear concept isn't slowing down as it has just announced that it's brought in Kenzo, the French brand known for its colorful and playful designs. Fans of the brand include Joe Jonas, Chris Brown, and Zayn Malik.

Kenzo fills a much-needed void in the city for bold yet casual staples. There are, of course, the brand's beloved sweatshirts, T-shirts, and pouches emblazoned with its tiger motif. But, really, Kenzo is much more than that and you can expect to see what the work of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim can do for your wardrobe.

The latest campaign, Kenzotopia, is a "collective dream of a better world." With the collection, the brand dives headfirst into a contemporary take of the ideology. Photographed by David LaChapelle, the campaign draws inspiration from an interesting combination of underground subcultures and renaissance paintings.
