The history of Louis Vuitton doesn't just start at the maison's founding in 1854. The fashion house's beginning goes all the way back to Louis Vuitton, the man himself's, birth on August 4, 1821. First up on Louis Vuitton's agenda is a NFT-led video game that takes players through Vuitton's origins through an epic quest. Inspired by his journey to Paris, the game is an action-packed adventure through six imaginary worlds.

Play as Vivienne, the label's mascot, and make your way to several challenges to end up in a birthday celebration. One of the highlights are 30 NFTs that were created by digital artist Beeple.

To further celebrate Vuitton's birthday, we're getting a look at his life with a series of creative initiatives: store windows that will reimagine the iconic trunk, a large-scale triptych painted by Alex Katz, a fictionalized novel by Caroline Bongrand, and a documentary that will retrace the designer and businessman's story.

"Imagine having a conversation with not just one visionary, but 200," said Faye McLeod, Louis Vuitton's visual image director. "We have never done windows like this before. There's an exceptional energy that emanates from them—this constant flow of creativity. People will really sense the feeling of celebration."

The Louis 200 initiative will let us step into Vuitton's life and genius like never before—definitely something to look forward to for every Louis Vuitton fan.
