Louis Vuitton Is Trying to Make Earphone Earrings a Thing. But Are We Ready for Them?

The people living during the 1950s had a number of ideas about what 2020 would be like. Flying houses, psychic powers, and a utopia-like world were just some of the most common. Instead of all that, what we have are earphone earrings.

You heard that right, the newest fashion-tech accessory on the block are earrings for earphones—not just any earphones but AirPods. The culprit trying to make this, dare we say, absurd accessory happen? Louis Vuitton.

If you think about it, it's an incredibly on-brand move for the French fashion house considering it was one of the first to really make luxury phone cases, iPod cases, and even dog accessories a thing. Compared to the $795 (approximately P39,000) trunk-style iPhone case, we have to say these earphone earrings are more practical.

Why's that? Well, most of Louis Vuitton's phone-related tech accessories end up on eBay to die along with outdated Apple models. But, at least you can probably pop these monogrammed earphone earrings on a keychain once Apple comes out with ear implant earphones (we're guessing that's the next step). Or, as an extremely lavish ballpen accessory... if it fits?

Weigh in on Louis Vuitton's earphone earrings below.

Earphone earrings. Go.

Yes. Give it to me.
